Ingredients:
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 1 cup fresh fruits ( blackberries, strawberries etc.)
- 1 Egg
Method:
- Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg to it and again beat well.
- Sift the dry ingredients and add it to the batter along with whole milk.
- Prepare muffin pans with paper lined cups.
- Part the batter into 9 portions ( as per muffin pan)
- Add fruits to the each cup until 2/3 of the cup gets filled.
- Fold fruits gently in each cup using fork.
- Bake at 375 degree F in preheated oven for 15-20 mins or until the toothpick test is clear.
- Cool for 5 mins before removing from pan.
