Fruit Muffins

Ingredients:


  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup fresh fruits ( blackberries, strawberries etc.)
  • 1 Egg

Method:
  1. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg to it and again beat well.
  2. Sift the dry ingredients and add it to the batter along with whole milk.
  3. Prepare muffin pans with paper lined cups.
  4. Part the batter into 9 portions ( as per muffin pan)
  5. Add fruits to the each cup until 2/3 of the cup gets filled.
  6. Fold fruits gently in each cup using fork.
  7. Bake at 375 degree F in preheated oven for 15-20 mins or until the toothpick test is clear.
  8. Cool for 5 mins before removing from pan.

Your muffins are ready !
