For Stuffing:
- 4-5 boiled and peeled Potatoes
- 1 + 1/2 finely chopped onions
- 1 Tomato chopped (optional)
- 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 2-3 tsp Kachhi Dabeli Masala
- 1/4 cup roasted peanuts
- 1/4 cup finely chopped coriander leaves
- 14 cup pomegranate and grapes
- 2-3 tbsp grated coconut
- 2-3 tbsp oil
For Dabeli:
- 12 Ladi Pav\ Kachhi Dabeli Pav\ White Dinner Rolls
- 1 cup Mint Chutney
- 1 cup Tamarind Chutney
- 1 cup thin sev
- Butter
Method for stuffing:
- Heat oil in pan. Add ginger garlic paste. Sauté it.
- Add one chopped onion and fry it till translucent. Keep rest of onions aside as we will need them at the time of final preparation.
- Add Kachhi Dabeli Masala. Mix it well till oil separates.
- Add mashed potatoes and mix it very well so that taste blends through the potatoes.
- Cover it with lid and set aside for 5-10 minutes.
- Take this stuffing out in some plate. Garnish it well with peanuts, coriander leaves, coconut and fruits.
- Our Kachhi Dabeli Stuffing is ready.
Preparation:
- Cut Pav\White Dinner Rolls in between to make a space for stuffing. Apply mint chutney on one side and Tamarind chutney on other side.
- Stuff with 1-2 tbsp of stuffing.
- Add some chopped onion and coriander leaves.
- Put some butter in pan. Shallow fry this stuffed Dabeli in pan till it gets crispy.
- Server hot with thin sev. No other chutney needed while serving as it has everything stuffed into it.
