Pani Puri Recipe

Yield: 5 Servings
Total Time:
20 mins (Given that Tamarind Chutney and cooked sprouts are ready)

Hot Tangy Water


Ingredients:


  • 1/2 cup mint leaves
  • 1/2 cup coriander leaves
  • 1-2 green chillies
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 1 clove
  • 1 pepper
  • salt as per your choice
  • lemon juice as per your choice
  • 3-4 tbsp sweet chutney mentioned above

Method:

  1. Grind everything together except two items to fine paste. 
  2. Add lemon juice and sweet chutney as per your taste.
  3. Add water to this paste.
  4. Hot tangy water for pani puri is ready

Pani Puri


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sprouted boiled green gram
  • 1 cup hot tangy water
  • 1/2 cup tamarind chutney
  • 1/2 cup boondi
  • 1/2 cup thin sev
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 25 Puri (Specially made for Pani-Puri)

Preparation:

  1. Prepare a dish with 5-6 puri with each of above item in different bowl
  2. Let your guests serve themselves fresh pani puri.
  3. Boiled green gram can be replaced with boiled potato or white peas or yellow peas.
