Preparation Time:
20-25 mins
Cook
ing Time:
20 mins

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups peeled, cleaned and half cooked shrimps\Prawns
  • 1/4 cup coconut
  • 1 large diced onion
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander
  • 1 1/2 tsp tamarind paste
  • 3-4 green chillies
  • 3 tsp red chilli powder
  • salt as per taste
  • 3-4 tbsp oil

Method:

  1. Grind chillies, onion, coconut together till smooth paste. Smooth paste is required as it will thicken our curry.
  2. Take oil in pan. Once oil is hot, add ginger garlic paste. Saute it well till it changes color.
  3. Add paste now and saute it till oil is not coming out of paste. Add red chilli powder. Amount of Chilli powder can be varied depending on your tolerance to spicy food. My husband loves extra spicy so I tend to make spicy dishes extra spicy. :)
  4. Add salt and turmeric powder as per your taste and Add Shrimps to it. Saute Shrimps.
  5. Add water now and let shrimps cook well.
  6. Once Shrimps are coked, It is ready to eat with chapati or rice.
