Many a time I am in a fix, whenever I think of Dosa. Like batter is not ready as it was not decided a day before or some other thing needed is not available. And then I found this recipe of Rava Dosa and now I can enjoy Dosas whenever I want with really less efforts. No need to soak, no need to grind.. Quick and Tasty as well.

Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1/2 cup rawa/ semolina/ sooji
- 1/2 cup rice flour
- 1 finely chopped chilli
- 4-5 chopped curry leaves
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves
- salt as per taste
- around 1 1/2 cup water
- oil/ ghee for frying dosa
For Tempering:
- 1 tsp oil
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- pinch of asafoetida
Method:
- Mix all ingredients together.
- Heat oil for tempering. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and asafoetida.
- Add this tempering to above batter.
- Batter should not be very thick. Add water to adjust consistency.
- If batter is too thin add little bit of rice flour. This batter should be thinner than usual dosa batter. Let batter set for 30 minutes.
- After 30 mins, start making dosa. While making disa, remember to clean not-stick pan with wet cloth or wet paper towel before each dosa.
- Add few drops of oil before spreading dosa batter. Wait till dosa base gets crisp. Sprinkle few drops on top. Flip and cook. Once both sides are cooked Dosa is ready. Complete all other Dosas in same way.
- Nice crispy tasty dosas are ready....
