Rose Syrup

Yield: 1 cup

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp rose essence
  • 1/2 tsp red color

Method:

  1. Combine water and sugar. Heat it in a sauce pan. Stir continuously.
  2. Boil the mixture till it gets cooked.
  3. Once this mixture is cooled, add essence and color to it.
  4. This is basic recipe for all syrups. Different syrups can be made adding color and essence accordingly. For Chocolate flavor, refer Chocolate Sauce recipe.
