Sabudana Khichadi

Ingredients:


  • 2 cups sabudana soaked (How to soak sabudana?)
  • 3-4 chopped green chillies
  • 1 small potato sliced and chopped
  • 3 tbsp ghee or refined oil
  • 2/3 cup crushed roasted ground nuts\ Peanuts
  • salt as per taste
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds(optional. Some people do not have it for fasting)

Method:

  1. Mix sabudana, and crushed nuts well. Add salt to it and mix well.
  2. Heat ghee in pan. Add cumin seeds and green chillies.
  3. Add sabudana mix. Mix it well. Keep on mixing after every 1-2 minutes.
  4. It takes around 5-10 minutes to get khichadi cooked.
  5. Serve it hot with lemon and coriander leaves (if it is ok for you to have coriander leaves on fasting).
