Yield: 2 1/2 cups
Preparation Time: 5 mins
Standing Time: 3-4 hours

I got couple of queries as how to soak sabudana. Its really very easy. I am trying here to give you tips to soak so as to get perfect sabudana for further recipes.

  • Fill water in bowl with sabudana till one inch above sabudana. e.g. for 2 cups of sabudana, 3 1/2 cups water will be required
  • Let it stand for 30-40 mins. Water will get absorbed and sabudana will swallow.
  • Strain as much water you can. Little water can be remained in it.
  • Let this stand for another 3-4 hours. Soaked Sabudana is ready for different recipes.
  • If you want to fasten this process, soak in lukewarm water for 10-15 mins and wait for around 30 minutes after straining water.
  • Water requirement varies depending on texture of sabudana.
