Ingredients:
- 5 cups puffed rice
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- pinch of asafoetida
- 8-10 curry leaves
- 6-7 chopped green chillies
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 4 tbsp roasted peanuts
- salt as per taste
- 1 tbsp pandharpuri dal
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves
- Method:
- Soak puffed rice in water for 5 mins. Drain the water and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in pan. Add mustard seeds. Let it crackle.
- Add cumin seeds and asafoetida.
- Add curry leaves and green chillies. Sauté it for 10-20 seconds.
- Add onion, peanuts, dal & salt. Sauté until onion gets translucent.
- Add lemon juice, sugar and turmeric powder. Mix it.
- Add soaked puffed rice and stir it until everything gets mixed well.
- Cover the pan for 2 mins.
- Server Sushila by garnishing with coriander leaves.
