Yes... This is the name of Recipe. Sushila. This is famous breakfast and snack recipe in Solapur. As Solapur is on the border, some recipes are derived from south indian recipes.
Whether you like this name or not, you will definitely like this recipe. Give it a try..

Ingredients:
  • 5 cups puffed rice
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • pinch of asafoetida
  • 8-10 curry leaves
  • 6-7 chopped green chillies
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 4 tbsp roasted peanuts
  • salt as per taste
  • 1 tbsp pandharpuri dal
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves
  • Method:
  1. Soak puffed rice in water for 5 mins. Drain the water and keep it aside.
  2. Heat oil in pan. Add mustard seeds. Let it crackle.
  3. Add cumin seeds and asafoetida.
  4. Add curry leaves and green chillies. Sauté it for 10-20 seconds.
  5. Add onion, peanuts, dal & salt. Sauté until onion gets translucent.
  6. Add lemon juice, sugar and turmeric powder. Mix it.
  7. Add soaked puffed rice and stir it until everything gets mixed well.
  8. Cover the pan for 2 mins.
  9. Server Sushila by garnishing with coriander leaves.
