Tamarind Chutney

Ingredients:


  • 1/3 cup tamarind
  • 1 cup dates
  • 1/4 cup jaggery
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • salt as per your choice

Method:

  1. Wash tamarind and dates.
  2. Boil them separately. Mix the liquids and add other ingredients to it.
  3. Heat this sweet chutney for few minutes.
  4. This chutney can be used in other food like Bhel, Shev Puri, SPDP etc. For Pani puri, add some water if you feel.
